About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Power Platform/.NET Developer for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a county government client in Charlotte, NC. This is a lead-level role on the Application Development team, focused on delivering creative and innovative solutions for the Health and Human Services domain.

With minimal supervision, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and reviewing complex applications built upon Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics 365 and ASP.NET. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to serving the community through impactful, business-valued IT solutions.

Please note: This is a temp-to-perm position that will work onsite in Charlotte, NC. The salary for the full-time role is between $125,000 - $135,000 per year. The client is not able to offer sponsorship for the full-time role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in the development, design, and implementation of automated applications built on Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Lead the development, design, and implementation of automated applications built on Microsoft ASP.NET Core on Azure.
  • Provide guidance and share best practices for Power Platform (especially Model-Driven Apps) and ASP.NET development.
  • Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and support software systems.
  • Perform code reviews and approve pull requests for code produced by other team members.
  • Work with business customers and IT business analysts to translate requirements into technical plans and specifications.
  • Coach and mentor other developers on the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of professional programming experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with source code control (GIT/TFS) and software configuration management tools.
  • Experience with relational database (SQL Server) design and development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) or Developer Associate (PL-400) certification.
  • Experience with .NET 8 development on Azure PaaS.
  • System integration experience using tools like Azure Service Bus, Messaging Queue, or SSIS.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
