Who You'll Work With
At Slalom, personal connection meets global scale. Our vision is to enable a world in which everyone loves their work and life. We help organizations of all kinds redefine what's possible, give shape to the future—and get there.
As a Client Partner within Slalom's NorCal market, you'll help lead and grow a portfolio of healthcare clients. Slalom brings deep cross-sector expertise across healthcare providers, payers, consumer health, health tech, and healthcare associations—positioning us to help organizations deliver better patient and member experiences, accelerate innovation, and improve outcomes. You'll collaborate with senior client stakeholders and internal Slalom teams to deliver high-impact consulting solutions while driving strategic growth across your portfolio. We are open to hiring for this role at the Senior Principal or Director-level.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic advisor across a portfolio of healthcare accounts, building deep, trust-based relationships with a range of business and technology leaders
- Oversee the delivery of engagements across client environments such as provider operations, payer strategy, value-based care, digital health, and data transformation
- Own a revenue target of $2.5M+ (Senior Principal) or $5M+ (Director), leading with a strong sales mindset that includes both hunting for new business and farming within existing accounts
- Drive account growth by proactively identifying new opportunities, leading pursuits, and aligning Slalom's capabilities to evolving healthcare needs
- Maintain individual utilization of 60% (Senior Principal) or 40% (Director), staying engaged on high-impact, client-facing work
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop go-to-market strategies, shape healthcare-specific offerings, and influence delivery models
- Support portfolio operations including pipeline development, staffing, forecasting, and performance management
- Champion Slalom's presence in the local healthcare market by representing our work, expertise, and values externally
What You'll Bring
- A passion for healthcare and a desire to help clients solve complex, human-centered problems across multiple sectors of the industry
- A strong sales orientation, with demonstrated ability to both hunt and farm—building net new client relationships while expanding existing ones
- Professional services background with 10+ years of experience delivering client-facing work, ideally across payer, provider, or digital health environments
- Proven success driving growth across a portfolio of accounts, with experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets of $2.5M+ or $5M+ depending on level
- Strong understanding of the business and technology shifts transforming healthcare, including workforce pressures, consumerization, and intelligent product development
- Experience managing delivery quality and client satisfaction across multiple projects and teams
- Operational experience managing utilization, forecasting, and overall account performance
- A grounded, collaborative leadership style that promotes psychological safety, accountability, and a growth mindset
- Local presence in the Bay Area with flexibility to travel to client sites and Slalom offices on a hybrid schedule
