Business Development Representative

Job Overview: As the Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be the first point of contact between our company and potential clients. The BDR plays a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities as qualified leads for the Account Executives to pursue as new clients.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Research and identify potential clients within industry through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry publications.
- Outreach and Communication: Initiate contact with prospective clients through effective B2B in person as well as other communication channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media platforms.
- Articulate the value proposition of our technology solutions and services.
Qualification and Needs Analysis:
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand the challenges and requirements of potential clients.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure alignment with our offerings.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the targeted industry.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs to position our solutions effectively.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Work closely with the Account Executive(s) to transition qualified leads and opportunities into warm prospects.
- Provide comprehensive background information to facilitate smooth handover via CRM account portfolios.
Sales Support:
- Assist the Account Executive(s) in preparing proposals, presentations, and other materials required for client meetings.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure a seamless sales process.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the IT sector.
- Use market insights to tailor communication and positioning strategies.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the IT sector preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of IT products, services, and industry trends is preferred.
