Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Agent to join our FAA-certified repair station team in Florida. The Sales Agent will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients within the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation sales, with a deep understanding of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services and FAA regulations. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with airlines, private jet operators, and aviation maintenance managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for repair and overhaul services across commercial, private, and military aviation sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance managers to ensure satisfaction with services.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies, target markets, and pricing models to drive revenue growth.
- Quoting and Contract Negotiation: Prepare detailed quotes for repair and overhaul services, negotiate terms with clients, and ensure contract compliance with FAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Customer Support: Act as a point of contact for customers, providing support throughout the repair process, from initial inquiry to final delivery.
- Market Research: Stay informed about the latest trends, competitors, and developments in the aviation MRO sector.
- FAA Compliance Knowledge: Ensure that all sales activities and customer service engagements comply with FAA regulations and standards.
- Reporting: Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and provide regular reports to management on sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably within an FAA repair station or the aviation industry.
- FAA Regulations Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAA regulations and requirements for repair stations.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with aircraft components, maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to close sales and meet or exceed targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to customers.
- Customer-Oriented: Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Travel: Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required to meet with clients.
