About the Role

Facilities Care Specialists are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and presentable facility at each Bouldering Project. Facilities Care Specialists are an integral part of the in-house management and maintenance oft he built environment at the local facility level and are primarily responsible for the cleanliness of the facility. These staff members have direct impact on the experience of every individual that walks through eh door, from a first impression of the space to a lasting experience, these staff help create a welcoming and healthy environment.

General Responsibilities

Cleaning and Facility Maintenance

  • Works with the technicians and other staff to perform regular cleaning duties including but not limited to vacuuming climbing mats, mopping concrete floors, dusting required areas, regular cleaning of restroom areas, cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment, and ensuring that all custodial related assignments are completed as assignment by the Facilities Manager/Coordinator
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and presentable facility and retail area for members and guests
  • Maintains and cleans facility grounds and building as needed
  • Performans regular bathroom and facility walkthroughs, immediately remedying instances in need of attention
  • Follows opening and closing cleaning and facility procedures
  • Performs basic maintenance tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Customer Service

  • Actively responds to customer needs, membership and event questions, inquires, and feedback
  • Provide customers with product, membership and event information as needed
  • Engages with customers, providing assistance with climbing, orientation, and facility offerings
