Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, and supporting financial reporting activities. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced accounting software and financial concepts to contribute to the organization's financial health and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, and accounts analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Utilize accounting software and other financial tools for data entry and reporting.
  • Support audit processes by preparing documentation and facilitating internal and external audits.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions and support month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Become familiar with all aspects of the accounting department.
  • Work directly with CFO.
  • Qualifications
  • Experience in corporate accounting environments with familiarity in GAAP standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Ability to review financial reports and perform detailed financial analysis including cash flow analysis and budget variance analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across departments. This position provides a vital role within our finance department by ensuring accurate financial management aligned with industry standards and regulations while fostering professional growth through mentorship opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $70,000.00 per year
