Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality and presentation
  • Assist with meal planning and portioning according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and back-of-house areas
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Support food handling, storage, and inventory management processes
  • Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
  • Knowledge of dietary department practices and menu planning is a plus
  • Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude
  • Previous culinary or kitchen experience within the food industry is desirable
