Responsibilities
As a foreman at Michaels Fence, you would initially be teamed up with one of our other foreman to learn our installation methods. You will soon lead your own team and be responsible for:

  • Training
  • Managing your crew
  • Efficiency
  • Safety
  • Quality control
  • Reading drawings & laying out the fence
  • Problems solving
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Loading materials and tools for each day
  • Maintaining the truck, equipment and tools, all of which are provided by the company?

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of fencing experience and some construction management is required.
  • Able to work 50 hrs/wk during the building season.
  • Driver's license required (CDL is preferred).
  • Be in good physical shape and able to lift/carry over 75 lbs.
  • Able to work in most weather conditions.

Drug screening is used to provide a safe environment for our employees and customers.

Prior to starting employment, a motor vehicle record will be pulled to ensure driving record is clear of DUI/DWI, excessive violations or critical violations that would prevent an applicant from driving company vehicles.
