We work closely with general contractors, builders, and manufacturers to bring projects of all sizes to life-ranging from large commercial developments to custom residential builds.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to lead wood framing operations on job sites across the Sioux Falls area. This role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to coordinate crews and subcontractors, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Foreman will be instrumental in ensuring that framing work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and lead daily jobsite operations for wood frame construction projects. Supervise framing crews and coordinate subcontractors to maintain productivity and workflow. Interpret and enforce project plans, drawings, and specifications. Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and resolve problems to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular site inspections. Train, mentor, and support team members to promote skill growth and strong performance. Communicate regularly with project managers and leadership to provide updates on timelines, progress, and resource needs. Qualifications: 5+ years of framing or general construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of wood frame construction techniques and commercial building standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct teams. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities. Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
