The Senior HR Consultant will participate in—and may lead—the development and implementation of company-wide HR programs such as salary review processes, workforce planning, and organizational change initiatives. This role provides strategic and tactical HR consultation to managers and employees, ensuring alignment of human resources practices with broader business objectives.

Success in this role requires strong coaching capabilities, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the capacity to develop processes and solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and/or implementation of the client's HR roadmap and initiatives, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the IT HR Strategic Roadmap, aligning initiatives with business needs and timelines.
  • Coach management and non-management employees with both tactical and long-term perspectives to strengthen leadership, managerial effectiveness, and team capabilities.
  • Conduct exemplary employee relations investigations with urgency, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to policy.
  • Identify, coordinate, and implement training solutions that drive cultural change and support organizational goals.
  • Advise leadership on short-, mid-, and long-term organizational decisions related to employee relations, retention, compensation, staffing, terminations, organizational design, and talent planning.
  • Interpret, communicate, and uphold HR policies and practices; advocate revisions and enhancements when appropriate.
  • Lead or contribute to complex team objectives supporting client groups, IT, and/or broader enterprise functions.
  • Facilitate group problem-solving sessions and development activities related to human capital needs.
  • Enhance client utilization of performance management systems and practices for optimal organizational impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of HR generalist experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in at least
    five (5)
    of the following areas:
  • Change leadership
  • Organizational design
  • Leadership development
  • Talent and team development
  • Compensation management
  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • Investigations
  • Employee and labor relations
  • Strong team-building, conflict resolution, group facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, and consulting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR policies, practices, and systems.
  • Regular contributor to the development of new HR/ER concepts and department processes.
  • Experience functioning effectively as both a generalist and specialist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate-level coursework in Human Resources or related field.
  • Recognized as an expert practitioner in the HR field.
  • SPHR certification strongly preferred.
