Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets restaurant standards.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or culinary industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
