Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager with deep B2B SaaS GTM experience and domain familiarity in agriculture, animal-protein or livestock (preferably poultry/swine) to own product positioning, launches, sales & CS enablement, competitive intel, and demand enablement for our supply-chain planning product.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Define clear product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for each buyer persona (producers, operations managers, nutritionists, integrators, and C-level).
  • Own go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for major features and modules: launch plans, pricing support, collateral, customer pilots, and success metrics.
  • Create sales enablement: battlecards, one-pagers, demo scripts, objection handlers, and interactive demos tailored to enterprise and mid-market segments.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to translate product capabilities into commercial benefits and measurable ROI for customers.
  • Lead customer reference and case study programs; manage the collection of ROI data and success metrics to build compelling proof points.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research; maintain win/loss insights and feed into roadmap/pricing decisions.
  • Run demand enablement with Marketing: content strategy (whitepapers, blogs, webinars), field events, trade shows, and campaign briefs to drive qualified pipeline.
  • Work with Customer Success to create adoption playbooks, onboarding flows, and in-product messaging to improve activation and retention.
  • Measure and report product marketing impact through KPIs (pipeline influenced, conversion rates, feature adoption, NPS/CSAT changes, ARR expansion).
  • Act as product evangelist externally (industry events, webinars, analyst briefings) and internally to align GTM teams.

Education and Experience

  • 4–7+ years product marketing, product management with GTM experience, or equivalent B2B SaaS marketing experience.
  • Direct experience in agriculture, animal protein, livestock operations, or food supply chain (poultry/swine experience strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in launching enterprise software features and translating technical capabilities into customer ROI.
  • Strong written & verbal communication — able to craft pitch decks, technical one-pagers, and executive summaries.
  • Experience with sales enablement and working with enterprise sales teams.
  • Comfortable with data: able to use analytics (product analytics, CRM, marketing automation) to measure success.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, pilots, and industry conferences.

    Nice to Have

  • Experience with pricing strategy, packaging, and commercial motions for SaaS modules.
  • Trade show and field marketing experience in agriculture or related industries.
  • Familiarity with farm operational roles and on-farm systems (ERP, sensors, MES).
  • Prior work with channel/partner marketing (distributors, integrators).
  • Degree: BS in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or related; MBA desirable but not required.

Preferred Personal Skills/Abilities

  • Customer empathy + domain literacy speaks producer language, understands operational constraints.
  • Cross-functional influencer aligns Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing around GTM plans.
  • Bias for measurable outcomes: sets metrics, experiments, and iterates quickly.
  • Storyteller: converts data and technical features into compelling narratives for business buyers.
  • Project manager: executes multi-track launches with attention to deadlines and dependencies.

Tools and Systems

CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo/HubSpot), Product Analytics (Mixpanel/Amplitude/Pendo), CMS, content tools (Notion/Confluence), demo environment / sandboxes, Google Workspace / MS Office, sales enablement platforms.
