Customer Service Associate / Cashier

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring efficient, accurate transactions. Your positive attitude and ability to assist customers will help create an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions following proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
  • Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change.
  • Conduct product demonstrations when needed to promote sales and enhance customer understanding.
  • Answer phone calls and customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet store goals and uphold customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic retail math.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn about store products and services.
