About Us
We are a private equity real estate firm redefining the norms of credit and structured finance. Backed by 115+ years of combined leadership experience and a team built for agility, depth, and discipline, we're reimagining how private capital intersects with commercial real estate—and how exceptional teams drive meaningful outcomes for investors.
Position Summary
As a member of the Originations Team, the Analyst will report directly to the Managing Director of Originations. The Analyst will serve as the initial screen for deals sourced from a subset of the pipeline. Leveraging the candidate's existing commercial real estate knowledge and expanding it through a comprehensive training program, this position will serve as a springboard to a first-chair Originator position. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated to grow both his/her sales and credit capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Within the first 12 months, success in this role will look like:
- Delivering accurate, timely initial analyses on 100% of assigned submissions.
- Building and maintaining a high-quality, actionable broker database with current contacts and deal activity.
- Contributing to 3–5 originated and closed transactions by providing reliable underwriting support and credit insight.
- Enhancing CRM utilization through dashboards and reporting that improve team visibility and follow-through.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Evaluate preliminary loan submissions and determine alignment with RRA's lending criteria.
- Communicate with brokers and borrowers to collect missing documentation and clarify deal terms.
- Prepare concise deal summaries and collaborate with the Managing Director to determine which opportunities advance to credit committee.
- Manage CRM systems and pipeline data to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Conduct market and sponsor research to support credit analysis and loan sizing.
- Develop outreach strategies to strengthen mortgage-broker relationships and source new deal flow.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Performance Profile
- Analytical and decisive — able to evaluate deals quickly and articulate a credit perspective.
- Organized under pressure — comfortable managing a constant flow of deals and competing priorities.
- Relationship-driven — confident in communicating with brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Process-minded — disciplined in documenting, structuring, and maintaining accuracy across the pipeline.
- Committed to continuous improvement — seeks feedback, embraces learning, and actively looks for ways to grow personally and professionally while helping the team improve together.
- Accountable — delivers accurate, timely work that others can depend on.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong Excel skills; experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
- Clear communicator with excellent writing and presentation ability.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to learning.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ.
