Job Description

As a Security Officer – Hospital Badge Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, helping to deter potential security-related incidents and providing support to patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere, responding to situations with professionalism, and offering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for routine patrols and visible engagement throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at healthcare locations by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all vaccine requirements for hospital environments.
• Must be able to work in hospital morgue settings as part of security-related duties.
• Must be able to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital environment as part of security-related duties.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
