Overview

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring that our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role is crucial in managing transportation logistics, optimizing supply chain processes, and enhancing warehouse distribution strategies. With your expertise in procurement and vendor management, you will drive improvements that elevate our operational performance and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate daily fleet operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation planning.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and optimize purchasing processes.
  • Oversee warehouse management activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to monitor fleet performance metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within the supply chain and develop actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance demand planning and category management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation management systems (TMS) and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives by optimizing order fulfillment processes.

Experience

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Tableau and SQL for effective decision-making.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials resource planning (MRP).
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
  • Experience with freight operations, including 3PL (third-party logistics) coordination.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus for understanding fleet maintenance needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
