As the Senior Manager of Marketing Engagement, you will play a critical role in identifying and driving activity that will accelerate and increase the engagement of customers with Best Buy. Through building out specific opportunities aimed at the passions and interests that customers have and leveraging the full suite of Best Buy's assets (omnichannel retailing, relationships with leading manufacturers, membership etc.) your work will play a direct role in helping us serve these groups of customers differently and in a manner that will differentiate Best Buy from its competition.

You are a visionary leader with expertise in integrating strategies across the enterprise, managing complex, high-impact projects, and deriving insights from advanced data analytics, while building strategic partnerships, inspiring a culture of innovation and growth, and communicating complex strategies to executive leadership.

This role is hybrid, with a requirement to work in the Richfield, MN office 3 days per week and remotely for the remainder of the time.

What you'll do

  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive customer relevance.
  • Use data to inform and refine marketing strategies for continued business growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to align strategies and ensure optimal customer engagement.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships and manage high-impact projects.
  • Support the strategic evolution of the brand by helping to implement high-level initiatives and ensuring they resonate with the target audience.
  • Execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining alignment with the overarching brand vision.
  • Use consumer insights, market analysis, and competitive research to inform brand strategies and guide decision-making on specific projects and campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across various channels, helping to uphold brand integrity and identity.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing teams or projects (indirect or direct)
  • Deep knowledge of integrated marketing strategy development
  • Strong collaboration, presentation and communication skills, especially those at the executive level

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in consumer electronics, retail, or technology industries.
  • Strong ability to operationalize strategic initiatives into impactful, cohesive outcomes across channels.
  • Skilled in synthesizing consumer insights and market trends to guide brand-related projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to coordinate across teams and ensure brand consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring strategic alignment at every stage.
  • Proven success in supporting brand-building efforts and ensuring alignment with broader enterprise strategy
