Position Overview
The
Senior Manager, Contract Operations
is responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, including capital, O&M, and labor budgets. This role provides strategic leadership, ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards, and drives operational excellence through effective process management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience managing capital, O&M, and labor budgets

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Hands-on experience in contract drafting and administration
  • Proven success leading large teams
  • Six Sigma, CPSM, or other Supply Chain–related certification
  • 2–3 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with General Order 165/95/128 procedures and electric utility standards
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with expertise in construction management and contract administration
  • Working knowledge of bargaining unit contracts
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching capabilities
  • Proven project management skills, including scheduling, progress reporting, and project evaluation
  • Effective change management experience
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex challenges in dynamic environments
