Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for AI capabilities across our Client PC processor and discrete graphics portfolio. This role will define how our AI leadership is communicated to end users, IT buyers, OEMs, ISVs, and developers, helping shape how AI transforms the PC experience.
The ideal candidate combines technical depth in AI hardware and software with a strong sense of market storytelling—able to articulate how our AI technologies deliver real-world value across performance, productivity, creativity, and more. This person will partner closely with product management, engineering, and ecosystem teams to ensure our AI narrative is compelling, credible, and integrated across the industry landscape.
This role reports to the Corporate Vice President of Client Product Marketing and will play a pivotal part in defining and executing the company's AI marketing strategy for the client business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own AI positioning and messaging for client PC processors and discrete graphics, translating technical innovation into differentiated market leadership.
- Define launch claims, proof points, and value propositions that demonstrate tangible AI benefits across performance, efficiency, and user experiences.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and product management teams to align AI feature development with market needs and customer narratives.
- Provide AI related inputs on future products and experiences to drive the AMD differentiated message
- Lead go-to-market planning and launch execution for AI capabilities, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across marketing, PR, sales, and partner channels.
- Collaborate with OEMs, ISVs, and developers to create joint value propositions that highlight how AI features integrate into real-world applications and ecosystems.
- Drive customer and partner engagement, representing the voice of the market and gathering insights to refine AI messaging and product direction.
- Monitor competitive AI trends and market dynamics, informing long-term strategy and differentiation.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement content that clearly communicates AI benefits to technical and business audiences.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management in the PC, graphics, AI, or semiconductor industry.
- Solid understanding of AI technologies in client computing — including NPU, GPU, and CPU-based acceleration, AI frameworks, and on-device inference.
- Proven ability to translate complex AI technology into clear, differentiated messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience with cross-functional launch management, partner collaboration, and customer-facing storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, marketing, and executive teams.
Preferred:
- Experience marketing AI PCs, edge AI solutions, or AI software frameworks.
- Familiarity with developer ecosystems, ISV enablement, and AI performance benchmarking.
- MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or engineering.
Success Measures:
- Clear and differentiated AI messaging that strengthens the company's leadership in client computing.
- High engagement and adoption of AI messaging across OEM, ISV, and ecosystem partners.
- Successful AI product launches with strong alignment across marketing, engineering, and sales.
- Recognized thought leadership and consistency of AI narrative in industry and press coverage.
