Summary

We are seeking an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our passionate team at Bethel Preschool & Daycare. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating an engaging learning environment that promotes the growth and development of our students. Your contributions will be vital in helping us achieve our mission of providing exceptional early learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment for children.
  • Monitor and document children's progress and behavior.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance their learning.
  • Support individual needs of children, including those with special requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about children's development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

  • Must by 18 years of age or older
  • Have a high diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
