Position Summary:

The Employment & Housing Case Manager provides hands-on support to clients seeking housing stability, employment readiness, and community integration. This role coordinates individualized service plans, connects clients with essential resources, assists with job placement and retention, and promotes independent living skills in alignment with AIM Community Services' mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Housing Support:

  • Conduct housing assessments to identify client needs and barriers.
  • Develop individualized Housing Stability Plans for each client.
  • Assist clients with housing searches, applications, landlord communications, and housing retention strategies.
  • Educate clients on tenant rights, responsibilities, and basic household management.
  • Provide crisis intervention and eviction prevention support as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and community housing partners.

Employment Support:

  • Conduct employment assessments to identify strengths, skills, and job readiness.
  • Create individualized Employment Development Plans.
  • Assist clients with resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation.
  • Provide job retention coaching and ongoing support after placement.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, workforce programs, and vocational agencies.
  • Lead small group workshops on resume building, interviewing, and workplace success.

Case Management:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client records and case notes.
  • Coordinate referrals to mental health services, healthcare providers, educational programs, and wellness services.
  • Track client progress on housing and employment goals using Wellness Action Plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews.
  • Advocate for clients internally and externally to support long-term success and independence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in case management, housing support, employment services, or related fields- REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of housing resources, employment programs, and supportive services in Washington State.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and motivational interviewing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
  • Familiar with Medicaid billing documentation.
  • Peer Counseling certification or ability to obtain (preferred but not required).

Work Environment:

  • Work performed in office, field, and community settings.

  • Hybrid options available depending on client needs and service model.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $25.00 DOE (Depending on Experience)
