A rapidly growing organization in the Facilities Management and post-construction services industry is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, expand market presence, and cultivate long-term client partnerships.

Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal operational capabilities. This leader will play a key role in expanding service lines, opening new territories, and driving monthly recurring revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and multi-site facilities.
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual sales plans aligned with growth objectives.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships throughout the full sales lifecycle.
- Prepare proposals, pricing models, scopes of work, and responses to RFPs.
- Conduct facility walkthroughs and needs assessments to ensure operational accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Finance, and Leadership teams.
- Lead contract negotiations that align service delivery and revenue expectations.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-ups.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
KPIs & Performance Metrics
- New Revenue: Minimum of $150,000 in new monthly recurring revenue after ramp-up.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a pipeline valued at 3× monthly revenue goals.
- Sales Activity: Minimum of 12 qualified client meetings per month.
- Proposal Close Rate: 30–40% conversion from qualified proposals.
- Client Retention: 95% retention of accounts secured by the BDM.
- Market Expansion: Successfully open 2 new markets or service lines within first 12 months.
- CRM Discipline: Maintain 100% accuracy in all pipeline tracking and forecasting.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of successful business development or sales experience (Facilities Management preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving market expansion.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze RFPs and develop detailed scopes of work and pricing models.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
