focused on inspection, safety and quality supporting our Unmanned Inspection operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager , the Drone Pilot has overall responsibility for the operations of Acuren at the customer site. This includes but is not limited to compliance (safety, QA , etc ) . The Drone Pilot will conduct flight operations, ground based data acquisition , inspections, quality assurance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specialized drone inspections at customer sites
  • Organize and report inspection results
  • I nstruct and supervise others
  • I nterface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects
  • Handle project scheduling and execution
  • Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
  • Site safety management
  • Participate in performance management

Requirements

  • UAV Operator experience – fixed wing, rotor, or multirotor.
  • Previous leadership experience an asset
  • Current FAA Part 107 certificate
  • Experience in confined space inspections, oil and gas, LiDAR, 3D Modeling, Mapping and utility infrastructure inspections .
  • Experience with a wide variety of sensors, (LiDAR, EO/IR Cameras, OGI and Multi/Hyperspectral)
  • Ability pass hair follicle drug screening and federal background check
  • Experience with GIS/CAD based databases a plus
  • NDT experience highly desired
