About the Role

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell. This leadership role ensures quality care delivery, effective team coordination, and compliance with all clinical standards and procedures. As an RN Supervisor, you'll play an essential part in both clinical oversight and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating nursing staff assignments and managing workflow
  • Building strong relationships with patients and families to understand and support care needs
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and organized care environment
  • Supporting infection prevention practices and medication safety protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records and conducting audits to ensure compliance
  • Communicating with physicians, staff, and other departments to facilitate high-quality care
  • Coaching and mentoring team members while promoting a positive workplace culture

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Active New York State RN license (BSN preferred, but not required)
  • At least 2 years of experience in long-term care or medical/surgical nursing
  • A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
