An international logistics company in the Louisville, KY area is seeking a Japanese bilingual Moving Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating residential and/or corporate moves, managing administrative tasks, and occasionally assisting with physical moving activities. Fluency in Japanese is required.

Responsibility

· Coordinate and manage moving schedules and logistics for domestic relocations

· Communicate with clients, vendors, and moving staff in both English and Japanese

· Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, document processing, and record keeping

· Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and assist with scheduling appointments and meetings

· Process orders and update client and move-related data in company systems

· Contact clients to confirm schedules, address inquiries, and provide basic procedural information

· Procure moving supplies and materials as needed, based on client requirements

· Assist with physical aspects of moving on occasion (e.g., packing, loading/unloading light items)

· Analyze administrative processes and contribute ideas for operational improvements

· Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Requirements

· Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

· Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred

· Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, customer relations, purchasing, or inventory control is a plus

· Entry-level candidates are welcome and will be trained

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

· Must be able to occasionally lift and move light items as part of moving support

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
