Role Description
As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our customers. Your role will require technical expertise, a customer-centric attitude, and effective communication skills.
Provide Technical Support:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to IGT Glass Hardware products and services.
- Provide step-by-step guidance to customers facing challenges with installation or usage.
- Remotely assist customers in resolving technical problems by using available tools.
- Collaborate with engineers or senior technicians for complex issues requiring escalation.
Customer Service:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and a problem-solving mindset.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction with each interaction.
- Maintain a courteous and professional tone when addressing concerns or complaints.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest IGT Glass Hardware products, features, and technologies by attending training sessions and studying available resources.
- Regularly participate in product demonstrations and workshops to improve expertise.
- Be proactive in learning about industry trends and competitor products to provide better customer advice.
Documentation:
- Keep accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including questions, resolutions, and follow-ups.
- Contribute to the company's knowledge base by documenting recurring issues and their solutions.
What you'll bring to the table:
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.
- At 1 year of experience and customer success, or a combination of experience and education is required.
- Bilingual: Proficiency in English and Spanish required. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Articulate, persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Savviness and experience with technology: Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google, SAP, or other related platforms preferred.

- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and thirst for knowledge.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- This is an indoor position in an office/storefront setting requiring customer service interaction.
- The incumbent is routinely required to sit, speak, see, and hear.
- The incumbent routine utilizes computers, telephones, and other office equipment as needed.
