Primary Function:
Assist in accounting operations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, purchasing)
Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
Observation of standard operating procedures, familiarization with requirements (including best practices and legal guidelines)
Collaborate with the accounting team to update standard operating procedures and guidelines
Collaborate with the accounting team to create compelling and informative PowerPoint presentations for employee training
Support the preparation of financial reports on a regular basis

Assist in analyzing financial data and trends
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
Collect, analyze, and present data to support financial decision-making
Prepare reports and summaries for management review
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to ongoing efficiency initiatives

Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
Flexible, self-starter who can work independently and has an interest in different aspects of accounting.
Must have general knowledge of payroll accounts, payable and accounts receivable.
Completion of technical training or college courses through intermediate accounting.
Problem solving—identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
Interpersonal Skills— maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Oral communication—speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations,

Qualifications:
Two (2) years of current computerization accounting experience or equivalent additional formal training.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Typical Work Environment:
Primary duties are performed in an office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Will possibly be working alongside others with social, mental, and emotional disabilities.
