Activities Director – Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

Full-Time | Dayton, OH

Grafton Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (405 Grafton Ave, Dayton, OH is looking for an experienced, creative Activities Director who truly enjoys working with older adults and knows how to build a meaningful, engaging activities program.

We are under new management and strengthening our team. If you are energetic, patient, organized, and passionate about improving quality of life for seniors, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan, organize, and lead daily, weekly, and monthly resident activities
  • Create programs that support social, physical, and cognitive wellness
  • Build positive relationships with residents and families
  • Maintain documentation, calendars, and attendance records
  • Coordinate volunteers and community partnerships
  • Work closely with nursing and administration to support resident needs

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in long-term care or senior living strongly preferred
  • Must be creative, reliable, and able to engage all types of residents
  • Ability to remain patient, upbeat, and supportive throughout the day
  • ADC certification preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage schedules, events, and documentation

Schedule:

Full-time, including some evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed.
