Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, ensuring the highest quality of care for individuals with diverse needs. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, promoting independence while ensuring safety and comfort.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
  • Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility and transportation needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
  • Engage in recreational activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass a tuberculosis (TB) skin test.
  • Must be CPR/ First Aid Certified.
  • Must have valid driver license and car insurance.
  • Previous experience in home care services.
  • Background in medical terminology is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
