ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join the KHAITE team. This role will be based out of the NYC HQ offices, and will be on-site 5 days/week. This Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all office, retail, and showroom environments reflect the brand's commitment to excellence, functionality, and beauty. This role oversees the maintenance, safety, and daily operations of all physical spaces, ensuring they are well-run, impeccably presented, and aligned with the company's aesthetic and operational standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical and logistical expertise with a refined eye for detail and appreciation for design. They bring structure, efficiency, and calm to a fast-paced environment, ensuring each space not only functions seamlessly but embodies the essence of the brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Operations
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep corporate offices, and showroom spaces.
- Assist with general and overhead maintenance and upkeep of retail facilities
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical and general systems in corporate offices, showroom and retail stores.
- Manage service requests and repairs, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption to business.
- Manage the supply ordering for all corporate office locations.
- Maintain and enforce safety, accessibility, and compliance standards across all locations.
- Monitor facility performance and appearance to uphold brand presentation and operational excellence.
- Lead facilities maintenance upgrades.
- Collaborate with internal design and construction teams to ensure brand consistency and operation efficiency.
Vendor and Budget Management
- Manage vendor relationships for janitorial, maintenance, security, and other facility related services.
- Source and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost efficiency and high quality service for all KHAITE locations.
- Track budgets, invoices, and service contracts with accuracy and transparency.
- Evaluate performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement.
Retail and Showroom Support
- Partner with Retail and Visual Merchandising to ensure stores and showrooms meet presentation and functionality standards.
- Support with the logistics of seasonal showroom preparation and retail openings. This includes and is not limited to arranging floor moves, electrical moves, and any maintenance repairs.
- Manage set up and maintenance of utility related work in all locations.
- Oversee minor buildouts, repairs, and renovations to align with design and brand specifications.
- Collaborate with retail operations and store teams to optimize space utilization and enhance functionality
Safety and Sustainability
- Ensure all facilities meet local, state and federal safety and building regulations (OSHA, ADA, fire codes).
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Champion sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives across all properties.
Brand Experience & Culture
- Create and maintain spaces that reflect the brand's identity.
- Foster an environment of care, organization, and attentiveness that enhances both the employee and guest experience.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Interpersonal Skills:
- Calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented; with an instinct for anticipating needs before they arise

- Ability to collaborate across operations, retail, and creative teams
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Education/Experience:
- 5-7 years of facilities management experience, ideally with a luxury retail, fashion, or design environment
- Strong technical understanding of building systems and preventative maintenance programs
- Proven experience managing multiple sites, budgets, and vendors
- Proficiency in facilities management systems
- Ability to travel as requested

WE OFFER
The salary range is $105,000-115,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision programs, a company bonus plan, employee discounts and perks, a 401k plan with employer match, and other ancillary benefits.
