Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

NBCU's Media Group is looking for a Product Manager to drive the evolution of our Marketing Technology capabilities. This role will work on the Growth, Go-to-Market Marketing Technology team, reporting to the MarTech – Channel Technology Director, and will be responsible for owning the generation of new capabilities aligning with CRM tools & channels for Peacock – managing requests by gathering requirements, facilitating business cases, and prioritizing the intra-team roadmap.

A successful candidate will have a blended background including experience with both the technical integration and strategic application sides of marketing. They will be detail-oriented and well-organized; a leader who successfully works across multiple stakeholders to take ambiguous needs and flesh them out with details and structure.

Candidate must have strong knowledge of the global Marketing Technology space with a deep perspective on ideal architecture, tool selection, and data privacy regulations. It is crucial that this candidate is always up to date on the latest players in marketing software, A/B testing, attribution, and other tools with an opinion on the best platforms for the job.

  • Partner with marketing stakeholder teams to lead platform, campaign, and data migrations
  • Drive the MarTech roadmap for your workstreams; what is in motion, planned for development, and in the backlog – independently completing prioritized tasks related to their tools & OKRs
  • Own intra-team requirements intake process; maintaining 'source-of-truth' backlog of requests for stakeholder reference and planning
  • Lead regular backlog reviews, keeping team members apprised of the latest developments and facilitating backlog prioritization
  • Write and maintain business requirements; build the complete story for a given ask, what the goal is; why it is needed; what are the acceptance criteria and what is the business impact
  • Collaborate with MarTech product managers to find opportunities for cross-platform enhancements
  • Partner with Legal, Cyber, Security, Data Governance, Product, Operations, and Tech teams throughout development to manage approvals/prioritization and ensure requirements are met for MarTech requested features & platforms
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features or platforms; obtain sign-off from primary stakeholder and confirm with tech, prior to launch
  • Stay up to date on the current marketing technology landscape; make recommendations on how our stack can be improved via new and/or different vendors
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing technology and/or product management experience
  • Understanding of Marketing Technology stack architecture, including interplay between Customer Engagement tools and data warehouses
  • Must have direct experience working in a CRM system with a strong preference for Braze
  • Familiarity with global data privacy & consent regulations
  • Certifications & demonstrated development experience in core marketing platforms including CEP [Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud], CEP [mParticle, Segment], & MMP [Branch, AppsFlyer]
  • In-depth knowledge & experience managing infrastructure & deliverability for CRM channels including email, push, & in-product notifications
  • Development & integration experience with personalization platforms like Movable Ink
  • Strong communication & story-telling skills; breaking down complex concepts and presenting to both business and technology stakeholders
  • Expertise in requirements gathering; developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and identifying use cases
  • Proficiency with project & product management platforms [JIRA, Airtable]
  • Excellent organization and communication/facilitation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate and influence team members from multiple internal departments and external vendors

  • Bachelor's degree required

Additional Requirements: 

This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
