Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our upscale bistro dining room and craft cocktail bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, understand how to run a power shift for all FOH positions and a commitment to excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in all aspects of restaurant operations.

Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage the dining room service during peak hours of operations.
  • Provide above & beyond guest experience while upholding brand and service standards.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a high-performing team.
  • Implement and maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate stock.
  • Utilize POS systems (Toast, Open Table, Triple Seat) for cash handling and transaction management.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Recover guest complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems; Toast preferred.
  • Background in fine dining or casual dining environments preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
