Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a Purchase Order Receiver to join our growing team The Purchase Order Receiver will have primary responsibility for recording the receipt of shipments for orders of indirect materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor shared email inbox for scanned packing slips sent in by various associates across the company. Identifies them directly or works on those identified by Purchasing team members.
  • Identify and uses essential information from the packing slip to perform QAD receiving functions.
  • Locate the original PO in the Purchasing File Cabinet on the Share drive and documents any discrepancies, no requirements or shortages and emails the requestor and Buyer with details such as supplier, packing slip number, and the quantity of parts.
  • Upon completion of receipt, drag/save the packing slip and any other relevant receiving documents to the folder for the year in which the PO was originally issued in Purchasing File Cabinet on the Share drive.
  • Create a summary PDF that contains the Requisition, PO and Packing Slip and the Receiver ID Number that is assigned by QAD. It may also include other documents based on the information available. This is used by Accounting to perform the three-way-match and pay the invoice.
  • Maintain the shared email to record the completion of the receipt.
  • Ensures all receipts for which they are notified are processed within a 24-hour period.
  • Monitor the Excel-based invoice log that is shared with Accounting for unreceived POs for which Dynamic has been invoiced. Follows up with the requestor on the status of any physical receipt.
  • Work with Suppliers directly on orders that are past due, or coming due, to obtain confirmation of ship plans. Assist with and performs miscellaneous projects as assigned by Management.
  • Must be comfortable with the use of computer-based receiving systems.
  • Must pay close attention to details of packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Must communicate well in oral and written formats.

  • Be able to lift up to 30lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years' experience in warehouse Receiving processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems. Experience with QAD is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Solid excel and computer skills.
  • Familiar with Packing Slips, and Bills of Lading
  • Ability to communicate and work well with different people at all levels.
  • Ability to work with other departments (production, accounting, supply chain, and Logistics) to investigate and resolve problems.
