Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in the Union County, NJ area. In this role you will be responsible for full cycle accounts payable, invoice processing, invoice creation, purchase orders, and more. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. If you have 2+ years of accounts payable experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for youResponsibilities:Process and code invoices accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies.Perform data entry for accounts payable transactions with precision.Analyze and review billing spreadsheets across multiple entities to identify discrepancies.Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.Generate purchase orders and track their status throughout the approval process.Collaborate with team members to obtain necessary approvals for financial transactions.Utilize Accounting software to streamline accounts payable operations.Conduct check runs and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments efficiently.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets.Demonstrated ability to handle invoice matching and coding with attention to detail.Experience managing vendor communications and resolving payment-related issues.Knowledge of ACH payments and check run processes.Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
