Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Commercial Electrician will work on various construction sites and renovation projects, ensuring that all electrical installations meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper functionality of automated systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting on electrical equipment and systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
  • Participate in renovation projects by providing electrical expertise during construction phases.

Skills

  • At least 3 years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of high voltage systems and low voltage applications.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards in the electrical field.
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
