The Engineering Technician turns custom designs into fully operational systems by assembling, integrating, and upgrading high-pressure equipment used in hospitals and U.S. Navy facilities worldwide. This role blends hands-on assembly, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical precision. Engineering Technician Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate, and upgrade custom hyperbaric chambers
  • Perform maintenance and testing both in-house and onsite at client facilities
  • Travel to hospitals and military bases to support installations
  • Interpret schematics and engineering drawings with high accuracy
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure functionality aligns with intent
  • Conduct troubleshooting, corrective repairs, and system performance checks
  • Manage materials and components for assembly
  • Work safely within medical-grade and mission-critical environments

Engineering Technician Requirements

  • 5+ years in a mechanical or electrical technician role
  • Strong fundamentals in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics and follow precise technical instructions
  • High accountability and comfort working with tight timelines
  • Curious to learn complex systems and innovate when needed
  • Willingness to travel domestically and work occasional weekends
  • Welding certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in manufacturing medical, aerospace, or custom industrial systems preferred
