For over 30 years, we have delivered uniquely constructed products based on our proprietary, disciplined, and repeatable process. We are especially known for helping our clients align their investments with their values by creating socially conscious, responsible investment strategies.

This paid summer internship offers hands-on experience in the growing field of values-based investing, a niche in financial services that offers marketers unique opportunities and challenges. As a key part of our Marketing team, you will work on projects that provide insight into the many facets of B2B marketing.

This role reports to the Vice President – Platform Development & Strategic Accounts. A successful candidate will be passionate about marketing and have a growth mindset—curious, always learning, open to feedback—as well as an interest in taking on challenges and a talent for offering resourceful solutions. We are looking for a flexible team player who embodies Crossmark's Core Values: Integrity, Courage, Commitment, Proficiency, and Professionalism. In return for your investment in the role, you will learn skills across the marketing spectrum, from high-level strategy to multi-level project coordination to day-to-day tasks that form the bedrock of successful marketing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all digital and traditional marketing activities: copywriting; proofreading; coordinating clients/projects; assisting with email campaign management through Pardot/Salesforce; performing website updates; assisting with SEO efforts; and supporting webinars, podcasts, videos, and social media efforts; and designing digital graphics (depending on experience).
  • Coordinate marketing materials for client and wholesaler mailings, meetings, and conferences, and manage collateral through digital outlets/third-party portals.
  • Shadow Marketing team, Internal Sales, Client Service, Investment Operations, Compliance, Trading, and Wealth Management team members to gain a better understanding of the financial services industry and how marketing supports each department. You will also have the chance to shadow other professionals in the organization to gain a holistic understanding of how marketing functions as part of the larger team in asset management.
  • Gain a better understanding of Crossmark's unique products and how we help our clients align their investments with their values.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled college student (rising junior or senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, with an expected graduation date no later than June 2027.
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint); experience with Wordpress, InDesign, Canva, Salesforce/Pardot, Webex, SEO, and/or AP Style a plus.
  • Strong interest in investment management.
  • Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, throughout internship.

Internship Length: June 2–August 6, 2026
