Clinical Manager - Mobile Crisis Team

Salary: $80,000 - $96,800 annually (3 levels based on experience and education)

FLSA Status: Salaried/Exempt

Job Summary

The Clinical Manager will provide leadership, supervision, and strategic direction for a mobile crisis team delivering comprehensive behavioral health crisis intervention services in alignment with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) guidelines. The Clinical Manager will be reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and will oversee a multidisciplinary team of bachelor's level social workers, peer support workers, and consulting clinicians.

This position is a key role within the agency that provides a responsive, informed, unbiased, affirming, and inclusive approach and menu of services to a very diverse population, including individuals from LGBTQ +, marginalized, underrepresented, and BIPOC communities who have varying life experiences including: substance use and abuse, homelessness, gender variance, traumatization, legal involvement, system involvement, domestic violence, mental health needs, teen pregnancy, varied abilities and learning needs, poverty, etc.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership and Supervision

Provide clinical and administrative supervision to mobile crisis team membersConduct regular performance evaluations and professional development planningEnsure team adherence to CCBHC quality and documentation standardsDevelop and implement team training programs

Clinical Supervision of MC Team Staff

Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and complianceConduct case consultations and provide clinical guidanceMaintain clinical standards and intervention protocolsDevelop and update clinical practice guidelines in partnership with the Director of Clinical Services and CCBHC Director

CCBHC Compliance and Quality Management

Ensure team's services meet CCBHC comprehensive behavioral health service requirementsImplement and monitor quality improvement processesTrack key performance indicators and service delivery metricsParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with local emergency services, hospitals, law enforcement, and community partnersRepresent the organization in professional networks and community meetingsDevelop and maintain referral pathways and collaborative protocolsEstablish and lead a working community Multidisciplinary team that consists of all community crisis providers to include, ER's, Law Enforcement, Fire Department, area Pscyh Hospitals, Public Schools, other area Behavioral Health Agencies

Operational Management

Manage team scheduling and resource allocationMonitor and manage team budget and resource utilizationImplement efficient operational workflowsSupport recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare comprehensive clinical and operational reportsAnalyze service delivery data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesMaintain accurate and confidential clinical recordsSupport grant reporting and organizational performance measurement

What You Need:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health fieldValid state professional Independent license in behavioral healthMinimum of 2 years direct experience in mobile crisis servicesMinimum of 1 year in a management or supervisory role (negotiable)Experience with trauma-informed care approachesDemonstrated leadership in behavioral health crisis interventionsAbility to work flexible hours, including on-call rotationsStrong emotional resilienceCapacity to make rapid, sound clinical judgmentsExcellent stress management skills
