Fire Sprinkler Designer:

Qualified personnel will be required to design sprinkler systems for all types of projects. Designer will perform layout using AutoSprink or HydraCad and create hydraulic calculations and stock lists for pre-fabrication. Applicant must be organized and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify detailed fire sprinkler system designs using AutoSPRINK CAD software.
  • Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and material lists for wet, dry, pre-action, or deluge systems.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, and other trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Participate in design reviews, site surveys, and project meetings as needed.
  • Provide support during fabrication and installation phases, answering design-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing revisions.

Qualifications:

  • NICET certification preferred
  • Experience in Fire Protection Design Field is required
  • AutoCad and/or HydraCad and/or AutoSprink experience is required
  • Ability to multi-task to the extreme
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills a must
