Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including ensuring efficient processes for receiving, counting, and storing raw materials and other inventory, accurate order fulfillment, optimizing workflows to meet productivity standards, and ensuring safety standards are met. This is a people leader accountable for leading and managing team performance in support of business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:
The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that are not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including establishing efficient processes for receiving, and storing raw materials and other inventory
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory management, and workflow optimization
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals including creating schedules and assigning tasks to maintain operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement streamline warehouse operations and work cross functionally to address and resolve shipping delays, damaged goods, customer inquiries or other issues
- Manage accurate inventory-related data and prepare routine reports regarding inventory, shipments, and staff performance and communicate information with facility leaders and cross-functional teams
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment and schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
- Lead, manage, and develop direct reports:
- Build trusted and effective relationships to support an organizational culture that lives the values and foster a culture of cross-facility inclusion by promoting collaboration, communication and shared identity across locations, ensuring all employees feel connected to and valued within the broader organization
- Maintain active presence within the team, providing daily support and communication to build and foster strong teams and reporting structures
- Create and implement standard policies and processes throughout the team
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and empower the team in these efforts
- Establish clear expectations and set goals in alignment with strategic plans and ensure accountability for meeting quality and delivery expectations
- Manage performance and career development to include taking corrective action if necessary
- Maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary in your role
- Maintain effective staffing levels and proactively create succession plans, actively participate in recruiting efforts
Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or associate's degree in operations management, supply chain, business or a relevant field, or the equivalent amount of training and hands-on experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position
- 3+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations or another related role
- Ability to create and implement continuous improvement projects and lead departmental changes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
- Creative, and results oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with others to identify and solve issues, make proactive recommendations, and lead through influence
- Self-directed work style, able to work autonomously, prioritize and deliver results
- Ability to travel to other Trafera locations across the US if necessary.
Technology and Systems:
- ERP, specifically Infor, Syteline or other workflow processing tools
- CRM, specifically, HubSpot
- Data analytics tools, such as Power BI
- Warehouse management system, such as Factory Track
- Multi-carrier shipping software, such as Pacejet
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
