Overview

We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be the key player in managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and maintaining healthy relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about numbers, organized, and eager to support the financial health of our organization through precise account management and excellent customer service. Whether you're experienced in public accounting or have a background in medical billing or governmental accounting, your expertise will help us streamline our revenue cycle management and uphold compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts receivable process, including payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to financial concepts such as debits & credits, bookkeeping within various accounting software platforms like QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
  • Perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve overdue accounts through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions and correspondence to support audit processes and regulatory compliance.

Skills

  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 100 or similar platforms; experience with food industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, accounts payable procedures, and revenue cycle management techniques.
  • Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and account analysis tasks.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully bilingual with English and Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
