Social Media Specialist (In-House)
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to help manage and grow our social media presence across all major platforms. You will be responsible for recording, editing, posting, and optimizing content: especially for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. This role focuses on hands-on content creation, daily posting, and active engagement with our online community.
You should be up to date with the latest social media trends, digital tools, and platform best practices. Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to fast-moving trends are essential. Previous experience in a Marketing, Advertising, or PR environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Research current trends, hashtags, and audience preferences across platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.
- Record, edit, and produce engaging photo, video, and short-form content (Reels, Stories, TikToks).
- Post daily content and manage content schedules across social platforms.
- Write captions, conduct keyword research, and optimize posts for SEO and reach.
- Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and monitor customer feedback.
- Maintain and update the visual branding across social accounts.
- Track basic analytics (views, engagement, reach, follower growth) and report on performance.
- Stay current with new features, trends, audio, and tools on social platforms.
- Assist with promotions, contests, and other engagement initiatives.
- Maintain flexible availability for posting and monitoring (within reason).
Skills
- Proven experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong video recording, editing, and post-production skills.
- Proficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, or similar apps.
- Excellent copywriting skills and eye for design.
- Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and social media algorithms.
- Ability to create original text, photo, and video content.
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with online marketing channels and basic analytics tools.
