Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Account Managementto lead our client relationships and drive business growth. This leadership role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, healthcare business development, and account management within technology or marketing sectors. The ideal candidate will excel in building strong client partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and leveraging their negotiation and communication skills to expand our market presence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and retention while identifying new revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the account management team to ensure exceptional client service and retention.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and expanding into new markets.
  • Oversee B2B sales processes, including warm calling, proposal development, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to create tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track account activity, forecast revenue, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Develop strategic plans to grow revenue streams through upselling, cross-selling, and new product offerings.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close complex deals.
  • Extensive experience in business development and B2B sales within technology or healthcare marketing sectors.
  • Expertise in account management with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines and customer data.
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales or marketing roles involving technology solutions.
  • Leadership capabilities with experience managing teams towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively convey ideas and negotiate with clients.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market research, and customer insights for decision-making purposes.
  • Ability to perform warm calling techniques confidently to generate new leads and nurture existing accounts.
