Description

Spectrum Marketing Companies has an immediate opening for a Graphic Design Traffic Coordinator to join our award-winning in-house creative team The ideal candidate will be able to perform the below functions with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail. The Design Traffic Coordinator will serve as the hub of one of New Hampshire's largest and busiest graphic design teams, with primary responsibilities including (but not limited to):

•    Receipt, prioritization and distribution of all incoming work to our design team,

•    Vetting and inspection of all submissions prior to design assignment,

•    Light design work when necessary.

The position will require a thorough working knowledge of print design and production, including the ability to determine the integrity of supplied information and materials. Daily communication with multiple departments is an essential part of this position.

Required Skills – Our successful candidate will have:

•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design required with commercial printing experience highly preferred. 

•    A bachelor's degree in graphic design is preferred but equivalent experience considered.

•    Strong working knowledge of MAC Platform Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) and MS Office/Outlook. Additional applications are a plus.

•    Familiarity with preparing files for offset and digital printing.

•    Ability to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the organization.

•    Exceptional grammar/spelling skills.

•    Scrupulous attention to detail.

•    Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy in a deadline driven environment.

•    Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details; ability to multi-task.

•    Ability to accurately proofread is highly desired.

•    Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

•    Capable of working as part of a team and independently.

•    Ability to take and give direction.

•    Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:


•    Prolonged periods of sitting at desk.

•    Significant periods of screen time.

•    Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating art work and copy.

•    Ability to distinguish colors and shades.

•    Oral communication in English (other language may be a 'plus').

Online portfolio or samples of work encouraged.
