Accounting Assistant

Pu LI CPA PC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily accounting functions of the company.

Job Description:

Assist with month-end close and year-end close processes.

  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Assist with general ledger accounting.
  • Prepare payroll for the company.
  • Prepare and assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for the Controller and CFO.
  • Assist in month-end financial statement audit process.
  • Assist in month-end financial reporting process for various companies within the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills are required to work well with others and to interact effectively with customers and internal team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sense of urgency is required.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to assist in preparation of monthly financial statements for various companies within the company.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Other computer software skills are needed including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online ERP Suite, NetSuite, etc..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
