Per Diem Laboratory Assistant - Central Laboratory - Days

With patients from across the globe, we study some of the most complex and rarely seen medical conditions. And through our work, we guide the effective diagnosis and treatment of the many people we serve. Now, you can help Make It Possible.  

Bring your talents to our tight-knit team and provide the support our Laboratory Technologists need to complete tests that drive high-quality care and caring. As a Laboratory Assistant you can help provide quality patient care by accessioning, processing requisition forms, separating samples into aliquots, labeling specimens, and distributing specimen  to the appropriate laboratory sections for testing. 

This is a per diem day shift position. We are looking for someone to work 1-2 shifts per week, covering 8am - 4pm or 11am - 7pm per the weekly needs of the department. Location is our Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East side.

Preferred Criteria

  • Some college or technical courses

  • Laboratory processing experience  

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong data entry skill
