Software Sales Representative

Sales Rep will uncover new business in key accounts while serving existing customers by selling ProLytX FS software products and AI software. The position will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's software products. You will be primarily responsible in ensuring accounts are continually developed guaranteeing that sales targets are met.

  • Service accounts in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power, to obtain software and allied services orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
  • Position is for a quota carrying salesperson.
  • Prospecting and closing new accounts.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by client and respective opportunity.
  • Position is expected to make sales calls; Primarily by phone but face to face sales calls when required.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential business in assigned territories and accounts.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses as requested.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

Education / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-4 years SaaS software sales experience. Demonstrated experience with managing client relationships.
  • Engineering / Drafting industry and software sales experience is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated skills in closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, customer service and product knowledge.
  • Experience meeting sales/quota targets
  • Must display self-confidence and a motivation for sales excellence.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving.
  • Ability to analyze and determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
