Job Description: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Bilingual Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations. The ideal candidate will assist with tenant interactions, maintenance coordination, financial tasks, and property marketing while ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tenant Relations:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective tenants.
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Mediate tenant complaints, follow up on resolutions, and ensure satisfaction.

2. Leasing and Marketing:

  • Assist with advertising vacant properties to attract new tenants.
  • Conduct property tours, answer prospective tenant questions, and provide leasing information.
  • Process rental applications, perform background screenings, and prepare lease agreements.

3. Maintenance and Operations:

  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests, vendor services, and repair projects.
  • Track and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the property is kept clean, safe, and visually appealing.

4. Financial Tasks:

  • Assist with rent collection, process payments, and manage delinquencies.
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets in collaboration with the Property Manager.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes.

5. Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and files.

6. Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to improve operational efficiency.

  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in property management software and financial tools.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and compliance requirements.
