Job Summary
Our Litigation Attorneys litigate high value cases. They are responsible for all aspects of a case in state and federal court. This includes pre-trial prep, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial.

Duties and Responsibilities

Meet with clients and file lawsuits Propound and respond to written discoverySchedule and attend fact witness depositionsRetain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositionsSchedule and attend all hearingsPrepare for and attend mediations Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdictPrepare and file appropriate post-trial motionsAttend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics

Qualifications and Skills

A license in good standing to practice law in FloridaExperience as a PI Litigator A proven track record of winning, including jury trials with a minimum of 2 jury trials as first chairThe ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdictSuccess providing direction and guidance to a team of staffImpeccable verbal and written communication skills Excellent negotiation skillsAnalytical and research skillsA strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases
