Job Overview:

We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Daycare Teacher. In this position, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include fostering children's development, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a positive learning experience for all.

Duties:

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide attentive care and supervision to children throughout the day.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior.
  • Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child's day.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive curriculum and learning environment.
  • Transport children from school to the facility.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a daycare setting is required.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with infant care practices and behavior management strategies.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
  • Experience in childcare, or related fields is a plus.
  • Must be able to drive a passenger van to transport children from school to the daycare facility.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
